oh wow the arms? i remember when that first came out in vanilla PSU. Got all excited about it, bought it, used it and it sucked so much i had to use it again because i didnt believe it sucked so much. lol So after testing its suckyness 3 times i sold it.

in short, it sucks. I stacked mine and it sold overnight

And you forgot to mention it's a close combat SUV ;<

The PSP2 version connects 5 hits, iirc.

Another Video Test Using Dxtory.

This one is for Ohtori Encampment S3 - Stage 2 (1280x720@60 FPS)
There is a 10 second freeze between 8 : 21 and 8 : 31. I fixed this problem for future videos since I enjoy manual processing.



I've found a lot of strengths to Dxtory but a lot of weaknesses exist within as well. Overall its still a good capture program. Tell me what you think.

I suppose it has something to do with S2 enemies killing me in 2 hits lol

After fixing Nvidia Anti Aliasing and making it display properly, I decided to try to capture a video at 32xS, 4xTRSS and 16xAF. Strangely enough, I find that youtube-processing of videos sometimes creates errors...considering we all use a flash based player to view videos through youtube while our main viewers for videos on our comps themselves are not flash based and run much faster.

Here is my third dxtory test




The reason they are called tests is because my comp setup is very specific and different. In making videos I encounter errors during manual processing that are not picked up by automatic processing. I record around 2 - 4 hours of video a day and go through around 1 - 2 hours worth a day and adjust my system accordingly to the program. Sometimes there are capture errors which can ruin a video completely.

Recording at these settings in this game is completely new territory to explore and this was my first blank shot at it.

Oh yes, below are two screenshots of Keilyn. One is Anti Aliased incorrectly, the other is anti aliased correctly.

Notice Keilyn's aliasing around her ears, fingers and costume. Its very clear also the aliasing across the background, not to mention the anti-aliasing of the HUD itself with the darker boxes.

This second screenshot is what we should be getting under correct anti-aliasing.

Please take notice that Keilyn is closer to the camera. She has been anti-aliased and everything looks well and decent. Also notice the HUD itself is fixed too.

I have seen a glitch like this on the 5th floor. That usually happens when there is an event. However I do not remember seeing the other player transparent. I don't know if you photshopped that but it is possible!

That's really odd, I don't think I've ever seen a transparent player character in all the years of PSU.
