Back to my usual stuff for a bit I guess. *sighs* I can't figure out what's going on with me and this music dealie. -_-
Just because you start liking new music doesn't mean you won't like older stuff you listened to. My musical tastes have been incredibly sporadic over the years, yet I still enjoy going back and listening to all the stuff that's touched or influenced me over the years.
Music sticks to your soul, man! You may grow out of certain artists and styles, but I think you'll always have a soft spot for the things that really clicked with you. xP
There are some that you'll go back to, but there are some music that you'll just go "Why the fuck did I listen to this?"
My opinion is that once you start listening to 'better' songs, you'll start to have a higher standard for music, so it'll make you search that much harder for those 'amazing' songs.
What I am referring to, is TechN9ne. I liked some of their songs (In sophmore year of Highschool), but right now I'm just not feeling them. Course, I have been recently looking for Korn songs and SOAD songs, and some billy talent. (Basically I tried listening to them again and it just didn't work out, time sure does flow)
