Okay, so this is my first Phantasy Star game, and I must say, it is amazing that this has obtained no attention whatsoever for advertising. This thread is to discuss Your favorite features of this game.

I'll go first
I love the character customization and the Action Pallet. Honestly got to be the most convenient system I've played with.

i can sit here and list all the cool features i like but the one thing that stands out for me is the style. you can get some pretty cool gear in this game. i love the fact that there are a ton of visual units for armor and many of the new weps hav added special FX that just make you char look awsome. i liked the cyber punkish look of PSO but i love the customization of psp2 way better.

I like being able to quickly switch shields and have the units already in place.

-Good character customization. I can pick out what outfits he can wear, his class, his weapon loadout, and more .


-Action Palette. This was one of my favorite features since I've played PSU. I can switch weapons, Armor, and even use an item all in one small window.

-Lots of Weapons to choose from. Nuff said.

-And most importantly; online Multiplayer. And even better, it's free. 8D

Oh, where do I start? Hmm...if I had to pick just one favorite thing, I would say the chain system. Gotta love getting high chains then, BAM!, Photon Art spam by the whole party. Much better than in Phantasy Star Universe, where you could sit there and spam Photon Arts and hardly do a normal attack, ever.

The ability to strafe. I don't know why more games don't have this but it is perfectly implemented in the PSU series. As mentioned before dodging and blocking are nice too.

1) Character creation + customization. Not many other games reach near this level.
2) Fast-paced action, except for a few bosses
3) Convenient action, presented to you largely by the palette...it does have its short-comings, though.
4) The fact that a PSO purist hasn't popped up here yet.

5. Relatively easy to pick up battle system (unless you're a Force, but even then it's not that bad)
