Why does that "HUmarl" appear in the introduction alongside the FOmar? I bet she is the FOmarl and she is just using guns instead of Techs for whatever reason (maybe because they are still working on them?)
And if I think she is the FOmarl, that Knuckles newman is provably the FOnewm using guns as well.
The introduction Tails character is a FOmarl. In the trailer, since they don't want to showcase the Force gameplay just yet, they set her as a HUmarl, who uses only a physical sword and has the same get-up as the HUnewearl.
The Knuckles Newman is a RAnewm for the same reasons, and only ever uses that rifle.

In the introduction I see 2 hunters, 4 rangers and 2 forces designs, in the trailer I can't see the RAmarl dressed character, I see the HUnewearl using guns, and the FOmarl using guns and swords. And the Knuckles newman, the design is pretty much based on the FOnewm / Montage.
It doesn't have to be in the introduction character designs to be in the trailer...
In the introduction there wasn't a FOnewm, only a FOmarl.
The female Human never used a gun in the trailer.
Once again, it seems to be a RAnewearl. The HUnewearl is in the official screenshots on the PSO2 website.

The female human is using guns in the screenshots, but is dressed as a FOmarl. Your RAnewearl from the trailer and the HUnewearl from the screenshots only differ in the hairstyle, the clothes are the same.
Based on the same logic, if it's in the screenshots it doesn't have to be in the trailer.

The HUnewearl has the tail things on her shoulders. The RAnewearl has them coming down from her shorts. Also, the RAnewearl is missing the pink left arm collar thingy.
Two, that male Newman never used a melee weapon in the video.
I'm pretty sure those two in the trailer are RAnewm/newearl.

The screen shots had different characters from the video, and everything was different from the concept art in the first minute...

But at first I thought it was just slightly altered outfits, I didn't notice the ranger was actually a newman or "ranewm." So I guess that means I can be a LOT less paranoid about customization, Nice analytics, Wayu. 8D

Actually, no, the official screenshots had different characters from the alpha tests of SEGA itself, NOT from the trailer.

Just wanted to put up a side by side comparision between the HUnewearl and the RAnewearl.
Clearly you can see that the outfits are different in terms of class type.
