In the GC, I think you have to go in the dressing room, and reset in it.

At least thats what you did in Ver. 2...

The only way to do this is to have the server tell your that your serial is invalid or your account has been banned. My server program can easily be configured to send such messages to you. Private message me if you want to do this.

I've changed serials many times using this trick. You don't lose your characters.

I got the invalid message from barubary. Next time I went online, I got the prompt to reenter my numbers X3

I was using my old dricas account for my gamecube and I got banned a few days after converting my characters to 1.1

I was able to use a new memory card and get online with the 1.1 serials and a new character

Will this work for converting my old characters using my brand new serials?

I've got a friend who could also really use it. Right now he's using my Hunters License because he can't get the numbers changed. Somebody in another forum recommended you, Barubary...
