Did a small overclock to see how much it would improve the score and got 3k more out of it.



Now...how much more can I push...

Wat. How the heck does your 6970 get double the score of my 6950? I've unlocked the shaders even so the only difference is clocks, and I doubt the clocks are enough different to account for such a huge variance.

Perhaps you may have been running other things in the background? I turned literally everything off when I did my test. The test yields different numbers with different characters as well(which is why I mention that it was done with the stock HUmar). It's an extremely sensitive benchmark.

On another note, my card is a 6950 2g bios flashed to a 6970.

Nope. Nada in the background except for the usual background stuff. Don't think those could account for a two-fold increase in the score. Somethin' fishy going on. Are you sure all settings were at max? I can get a similar score if I have the settings slider at 3.

- HD on
- graphics: high
- windowed mode
- other programs running in background

100% sure I'm on max settings.

Another thing I didn't mention: I have a Z68 board; an ASUS P8Z68-V LX to be exact.

Windowed/Fullscreen
Resolution
Interface scaling

Fourth button:
Texture Quality (high /mid / low)
Complex shaders (On / Off )

Ah, thank you. I couldn't find a translation anywhere. I should have known to check with the launcher.

Graphic option 5, full resolution, benchmark of 5000. Glad to see this computer isn't letting me down yet. Though I'm ashamed I can't tell the difference between graphic level 3 and 5.
