    Smile PSP2 Newb

Hey guys i've just ordered myself a copy of PSP2 (so i dont have to watch my girlfriends TV programs *yawn*), what im wondering is will i require a headset to get the most out of the game while partied up or is there a chat box (which i guess is slow)? Whats best?

Haven't really given my PSP the attention it deserves and am looking for some friends to guide me in the ways of PSP2 and the PSP itself. Used to play PSO on the Dreamcast many moons ago which i loved.

So any kind souls willing to take me under their wing thanks in advance.

No you do not need a headset. I've never seen a psp headset XD. Anyways, theres a online chat feature that you can open by pressing the Select button twice when your online. You'll have to tediously select each letter using the d-pad and X button to say what you want to say.

    EDIT: Welcome to the PSOW.

    Welcome to PSO-World!
I recommend playing the Story Mode first.

    A) Gets you familiar with the game
    B) Unlocks more open missions
    C) Increases the merchandise in the store

You can hop online, but I found it a lot easier when I finish the story first. Same character that's used in story is used online, so you're not wasting time or anything.

Took your advice and played some story, found the camera a little tricky to get used to though.

Yeah, the camera is a huge issue with just about any action game on handhelds. For the most part I just tap L to center again.
