Planet art! because... SPACE!
It's some concept for the game world building example I am making for some upcoming art classes. I drew maps first. This is just some nice presentation and a good excuse to make SPACE ART.... because... SPACE!

I think this was one of the first artworks I posted here on PSO-W and I think it's what kicked of my drawing madness of pooping out lots of drawings up until this day.
It's probably hard to tell the difference, but I changed the background a little
My god, are those really both done by the same artist? You have gotten so much better in these years.
I'm almost tempted to submit Downcast Eyes v.1 and v.3. Kinda defeats the purpose of creating new art for friendly competition, though.
0% talent, 100% hard work! I was pretty bad back then, but I never gave up. I still have ways to go before I reach the point with my art where I want it to be.
That's always been my belief. You can get good at anything if you're willing to put in the time. I always tell anybody interested in learning piano that all it takes is doing 15 minutes of work each day for five years to get truly good at the piano.
Been practicing the past week speed painting. I just shamelessly copied art work I like, to specifically work on a faster painting technique, trying to learn from others.
All these took between 40 and 60 minutes.
I can't even write a paragraph in an hour. I wish I could make things this gorgeous in that time.
