@Ami: Thanks! I think I'll try to record more video's if people like these, it's not really much work, other then pressing record and after that uploading it to youtube.

Painting in PS is great. It's almost like Photoshop is made for digital painting. Thats probably why most pro's in the end use Photoshop for digital painting. If you take a good look at the video, you'll start to see my favorite Shortcuts (seriously, you can't really paint in photoshop if you don't use the shortcut keys):
B: Brush
E: Eraser
1 - 0 = 10%-100% opacity for the brush
[ = smaller brush size
] = Larger brush size
ALT when in Brush mode is for color picking (I use that A LOT!)
CMD+S to save my document, though photoshop CS5 is so stable it never crashed on me for years now.

Thats pretty much it. Just try to keep the layers down and you are good to go. No special brushes are needed.

Thanks! It's this easy! That character part is just to create the placeholder for the character. I will do a sketch on top of it to get the details down. It's still to hard for me to draw character details without sketch (BIG OLAF's was without sketch though).

Even if there are 100 request to do, just make yours I don't really care for what you request. If it contains lots of characters, I will simply cut down on details (although I only do multiple characters when I can use my digital paint style).

Norco's request is coming along nicely. I hope to finish it tomorrow, since I will be @ my parents this weekend (which is great for doing concept sketches in my sketchbook *hint hint*)

I did mis like 1,5 hours of video, cause I forgot to press the record button You'll only miss a bit of detailing on the clouds, trees and a bit of grass.
