Eternal Planets

There's been a post over on Shogai on the Phantasy Star: Eternal Planets game. It's a browser game you can play on Yahoo Mobage games. It says the game is in "closed beta" but it looks like anyone with a Japanese Yahoo account can play. I'm giving it a go now.

Players are members of Little Wing looking for new planets for resources. The test is only until the 21st, so give it a try if you'd like.

The game itself is pretty meh. You're far better off working on your tests.

errr....i just realized i typo-ed on what i said, it was supposed to be on the closed beta. dont have any testing at all. for just about 2 days worth if i wanted to make a jpn yahoo account isnt worth it. if it had more time then i would of think about it. mostly just would wait for it to come out in english

And just like Eternal Hunters, there's probably going to be a product code to get a weapon in Infinity. Why can't they just say "Here, 99% of you won't play it so here's the reward for just being interested in seeing what it is."

To me it looks like a (Dragon Quest) turn base battle system and checker board Fields. Well I can wait for the the final review.

It's turn based but I think the turns are based on speed stats. And you just kind of automatically move across the game board. You don't get to control that.

It felt odd beating a Lv 4 (or 6, I dont remember) Gaozoran as a boss >.>

I tried it yesterday, and ditched it after 30 minutes, lol.

The speed stats is a give'n but to have it pick where you move for you. Shame Sega.

Turn based strategy may have been a better way to go if you ask me.
