The Wii-U has tons of applications but is severely limited by the fact that the controller is nothing more than a touchpad with video output streaming from the console itself -- it renders almost nothing on its own, and so regardless of what you have on the screen, everything is drawing horsepower from the console itself.

Actually they DID bring up a future console PS game...

Whatever they plan to do with it who knows, right now I'm more distracted with PSO2 anyway.

As for PSVita/Victory whatever (whether it's a PSO2 sidegame or PSP2i sequel.) We'll never hear the end of it here, if it never get's localized...

Is the Wii-U capable of running this game? Yes

Is the controller for the Wii-U wonderfully ideal for a game like this? Very much so.

Is it a good idea? Probably not.

Nintendo has a history of a botched up online system. I'd rather not see separate servers, delayed content updates, and a divided community... and this is coming from a huge Nintendo fanboy.
