Error code 617

So I know this error code has to deal with it not finding the proper ship/block I believe.

How do you work around this? Why do you get this problem? Is it something you just have to wait to be fixed? Or what?

The servers are down.
Before you click on a ship, you can see its status. If it's gray, it's down, if it's green, it's up.

Addendum: Green is low population, Yellow is filling up (I saw it once on Ship 01 during POBT), and I assume there's a red for nearly full to completely full.
