What will take points away from the bottom bar when feeding your mag?

Is there any way to increase force defense without increasing the other defenses or tech power?

Rear armor units (which also increase ability) or 3* room decorations, from the look of it.

From what little I have seen so far, why would anyone want anything else than a pure skill mag?
Espescially with disks costing 500 mesetas in the shop...

Doesn't skill just raise critical hit percentage? You'd need a large raw damage base in order to deal high crits anyway.

So I just happened to be taking some pictures yesterday and took some pics of a mag that proves what i was saying...

    http://crushing-utopia.com/PSO2/1star1.jpg
    http://crushing-utopia.com/PSO2/1star2.jpg
    http://crushing-utopia.com/PSO2/2star.jpg
    http://crushing-utopia.com/PSO2/4star.jpg

From these we can see with a little work that...
    1* s = 20sp pts / 6.5abl pts (7?)
    2* s = 30sp pts / 10abl pts
    4* s = 50sp pts / 17abl pts

Now since I didn't have any other striking weapons on me at the time, and can't find a 3* weapon anyways, I couldn't measure those, but that doesn't really matter because those 3 give enough info to establish a pattern. And with that, here are the value for striking weapons and likely ranged and force weapons too.

    1* = 20primary pts / 6.5abl pts (7?)
    2* = 30p pts / 10abl pts
    3* = 40p pts / 13.5abl pts (14?)
    4* = 50p pts / 17abl pts
    5* = 60p pts / 20.5abl pts (21?)
    6* = 70p pts / 24abl pts

7* and above can't be fed to your mag.

Also, in case i wasn't clear how the stars are before. As each individual mag stat goes up the points to raise that mag stat goes up so it is easier to raise a diversified mag than it is to raise a pure mag.

Someone just trying to raise their mag up to max level can do so easily by simply raising all 7 stats to 10, and then 3 of those to 10 (or 2 to 10 and 1 to 9 since it's 99, not 100) which results in spending only 12,900 points.

A pure mag needs 54,000 points, and you have to watch how you need to feed it negative points which takes a lot more time and attention.

If for some reason some doesn't understand what level requires how many points, i typed it all out, with totals of that tier of levels and total of all tiers. so her you go.
