Wondering is it better to sub braver or fighter

Fighter gives better modifiers for Hunter, enables you to knuckle dash, and has chase advance, which can buff your damage even further. Also, the pyroxene all-class saber is actually usable. Meanwhile, Braver's average stance is weaker than brave stance in any sort of way, weak stance is restricted to weak spots only (and spots marked with wb). The non-10* all-class katana is too weak, the 10* is quite expensive. Same goes for the bow, it's too weak. Posted from Pso-world.com App for Android

Someone please extend on this, I don't want to write a huge paragraph on the phone. Edit: Sheesh, no one did? Alright...
    Fighter

    Fighter has 2 stances:

-Brave Stance: It buffs your attacks as long as you're in the enemy's front according to their centerpoint (if your attack hits their back and you're in front of them, the damage still boosts). Brave Stance and Brave Stance Up multiply to 144%.

-Wise Stance: It buffs your attacks as long as you're in the enemy's side or back according to their centerpoint. The damage stacks to 169%.

Fighter also has Chase Advance: It buffs your attacks by 140% as long as you're attacking a mob that's suffering a status ailment. Inflicting a status ailment is as easy as affixing a weapon that can hit multiple times quickly with a PA with an ailment (like Deadly Archer, Bloody Sarabande, Holding Current, Wild Round). However, this skill can be random, since the proc rate of status ailments is pure RNG.

In that case, Fighter also has 3 S-ATK Up, which you can max if you remove the SP of Chase Advance and one of the stances (Wise preferably). Do this only if you can afford multiple skill trees.

    Fighter weapons also have utility:

-Dual Saber has Deadly Archer and Acro Effect to deal raw dps.

-Twin Daggers have Bloody Sarabande to deal with groups of mobs that Assault Buster can't 1-shot. They also have Raging Waltz which can knock down enemies out of your reach (though you could use Sacred Skewer too).

-Knuckles have Straight Charge to boost yourself a bit when you knuckle dash. They also have Backhand Smash, a powerful single hit blow.

    Braver:

    Braver has 2 stances too:

-Average Stance, which buffs damage everywhere. Its multipliers stack for 133.1%.

-Weak Stance, which buffs damage on weak spots only. Its multipliers stack for 157%.

HOWEVER, S Charge on both stances only works with charged PAs. So, for uncharged PAs/PAs that can't be charged, with average stance you'd have a 121% multiplier, and with weak stance, 143%.

The other 2 skills Braver has are restricted to their own weapons.

-Katana Combat, which you would only use for its finisher, which is a powerful AoE that you can use every 90~160 seconds. You'd need an Agito to make Katana Combat worth it.

-Rapid Shoot Mastery: Forget about it, since there are no strong all-class Bows.

So there you have it. I would recommend Fighter, if possible as main.

Hunter has decent all-class weapons, which retain their AoE utility and deal decent damage. They're also really easy to 50 element. And you could use the Fighter weapons to deal dps.

Braver has two stances, but you will not be able to get both maxed, unlike fighter's.

Fighter loses a lot of damage when enemies are not facing the right direction - which happens a lot - so the DPS of fighter is not much higher than braver, if it is.
What gives a considerable edge to fighter over braver is Chase Advance, otherwise braver as a subclass to hunter is just as good, and better in a few instances (mostly bosses).

Kamekur is right that hunter lacks a truly damaging 1v1 photon art, hunter is all about stupidly powerful attacks with wide areas of effect, but there is a new 10* double saber that hunters can use called アメン・ホテプ (yay for Egyptian gods) and it's very powerful.
