Stuck updating

Hi.
When I press "Start game" on PSO2's launcher,the first bar gets stuck at about 5%(?)
No matter how long I wait,it sits there.
Help?

How long have you waited exactly?

It is normal that it look like it stopped for quite awhile.

It took literally 2 days for me to update it due to random disconnects, locking computer, and the like. It will sit there no matter how many times you restart it for a good hour and a half(50/10 Cable Connection).

Check the file count in C:\Program Files (x86)\SEGA\PHANTASYSTARONLINE2\pso2_bin\data\win32 or C:\Program Files\SEGA\PHANTASYSTARONLINE2\pso2_bin\data\win32 on 32-bit systems. My fully patched copy is at 5,663, so that's how many files you will need to download to play. As long as that number is increasing during the patch, you are good and can ignore the progress bar.

I tell all of my friends this when they install...but it just does that.

You have to wait, it will eventually move, I promise.
