As I understand it, they had most of these 75 players on a list before it all kicked off, and that number is for the entire game, not just Ship 2.

It's only today they brought down the ban hammer.

I imagine that these 75 players had a range of different marks against their names, via player reports and GameGuard, and the call to ban them all today was a bit of a PR stunt to show SEGA are reacting to the hack.

There's no way in hell it took 75 people to do this. It was two dudes. We watched it happen in real time as they talked about it. We've got our account of how it all went down on our site.

There's no way to really know weather the ban-ees are american Japanese or from uk unless sega decide to name and shame which is highly unlikely. It's all speculation. They've been banned, sega are on the case with it and pretty quickly by all accounts. Let's just worry about getting our mags to 100 lol, all the player data is fine anyways so it's all good.

Interesting development. That's still more action than I recall seeing them take before.

Well, one more thing that can be done.
If you have picture/video/chat log of the hacker, but don't know how to send that info to Sega, you can leave it here, and have one of the other member that are fluent in Japanese send it for you.

Maybe this is why they have the premium blocks. Those were the only blocks I could find where the NPCs weren't moved.

That's the spirit! Maybe something a lot more harmful than moving NPCs around will show up, but hopefully not. Game was only officially released about a week ago after all

First of all, most of these bans were for RMT obviously. Secondly, they won't IP ban us because they know they can get around it easily. Thirdly, USA! USA! USA!
