Limit Break, Slayers, Critical Strike, and Tech JA Boost on FI tree would make any weapon not suck. Along with Last Stand on that gunslash. I'd love to see the same build but using an Ares or Slave gunslash. Just good luck using Limit Break in XH for not bosses. Since most bosses give a long telegraph for their attacks... unless its Leone. Leone is just Sup. (slaps you)

Could've made it dark and spent the meseta(less than the cost of a +5% element enhancer) on a light converter for 50 element, rip.
The fodder from the shop is only 10 element, so it'd make the same contribution, same element or not.
Oh, I thought they were 15 element like Slave weapons. Even more rip.
