Lvl 30 mag, still hasn't evolved?

After reading through a few guides on Mags I assumed that upon hitting 30 my mag would transform... Is this not the case?

I really was looking forward to photon blasts so can anyone tell me why I'm not getting anywhere?

14 Striking attack

15 Ability

1 on each type of defense

Nothing has primacy so it can't evolve. Just make something have primacy by lvl 35 and it will evolve

Yeah as I was waiting for a response I found out that defense and attack are cumulative for a single stat.. So that makes 15 ability and 15 striking... Ugh..
