Let me give you a little insight about what a programmer needs to think while doing any application that involves human interface.
In a perfect world a programmer didn't had to be constantly thinking about human stupidity, so here's a basic example.
PERFECT WORLD
application : asks the user to input a number between 1-9
user : 7
output : OK
OUR WORLD
application : asks the user to input a number between 1-9
user : TROLOLOLO
output : ERROR ERROR ERROR
as a programmer you need to KNOW that humans are gonna do stupid things, so you do exceptions to keep the application working when that happens, this is ofc very easy to do and very easy to think of on such basic applications.
In a game, where's there's thousands and thousands of code lines do you really expect programmers to think about every possible stupid shit users will do? NO, do you really think the guy programming a simple NPC is thinking about bugs that'll involve people moving an npc? Although if the programmers had used another type of object as an npc..... STILL..
this is not hacking, plus this is not gameguard's issue by any means. SEGA can only be blamed for not finding about this while testing the game, and yet why do you turn against SEGA? There's idiots doing this, they don't hack, they are dumb trolls, they join the game just to make everyone else miserable and then claim they wanna be heard.. they are annoying lil brats like kids on airplanes, who cares the flight will be over in 2 hours, sure they annoy but who gives a f?
Instead of blaming SEGA blame the ones who are doing this, maybe they'll stop thinking they are doing us any good.
