Some background process has crashed the very moment I started PSO2. Good going.
I can use Firefox just fine now, though.

Nothing's crashed for me except PSO2. Every time I try to start it up, it errors out at the character select screen. Bah, the only reason I even bothered to try again was because one of my friends got it to work smoothly, and I can't even get past the server screen without problems.
Character ID: 中原小麦
So, uh it might be because of this update but I open PSO2 (fine), open the ship list (fine), sign in and chose my character (fine), get into lobby (fine), then immediately 630 without being able to type or interact with people despite being able to see them run around (definitely wrong).
Any solutions?

Try to restart the router Wayu and then restart your computer as well probably your isp is having troubles to connect to the pso servers.
Done, no difference after restarting both twice.

Σ(・ω・ノ)ノ press Windows Key + R then type cmd to open the command prompt
Then type "ipconfig /flushdns" and press enter once you clear the DNS cache try to re login back into the game see if it works make sure to also close any other IM program or anything that may be using the connection too.
Tried it, testing to see if I could enter someone's room. Failed.
So flushing the DNS cache did nothing.

The 630 appears right after you access to the lobby after selecting your character? does it lets you move around a little before disconnecting?
my mumble overlay doesn't seem to work anymore but i'm not sure if that's anything to do with game guard or not
