I think one of the data mined icons shows Dark Falz. IF that is Dark Falz, he looks BAD ASS IMO. Since this particular enemy looks VERY close to the design of the classic Dark Force/Dark Falz of the 8-bit and 16 bit Phantasy Stars's design of Dark Force (Dark Falz)....

Oh please.. its free, and people are still complaining about it not being finished? Also, PSO/U were mostly based on side-quest and end-game content to begin with...

Since Ragne is the "king" of the spider-type Darkers, it only makes sense that this hefty fellow looks to be designed as the "king" of the stone-type Darkers. (like a Gawonda that's been eating his Wheaties). Hopefully he's a random field spawn like Ragne.

Well, technically, they're a type of stone Darker. They have the same etchings and skin texture as, say, the Mikdas and Gawondas.
