    Here's mine for GuHu with a +6 ring (125% R, 100% S). Astra TMG, no buffs, done in Nab1 to negate PSE and with 10pts Fury Combo to make things easier to test.

    17,218 DA will be 18,940 with a +20 ring. i.e. multiplied by 110%.
    15,408 SA will be 16,024 with a +20 ring. i.e. multiplied by (130%/125%).

    10 DAs will do (18,940 x 10) = 189,400.
    6 SAs will do (16,024 x 12) = 192,288.

    Still a 1.5% difference just like the calculator says That ratio is consistent with the numbers from my pre-ring PD run too.

    P.S. gimme a break for having a pos ring, I just got a decent connection after moving 3 weeks ago. Can re-test after I +20 it.

    numbers are fun but at the end of the day

    less damage for more pp cost
    DA can't headshot
    DA can put you in an awkward spot after multiple uses if you're not on a wall(which means spending time to readjust)
    c-strike ranged ring doesnt boost it

    Practicality over all else. I wouldn't do it if I can SA/IF0 instead.
    But for that one time in PD, sure.

    There's also UQ 15% Ranged resist I'd play GuHu GuFi style, slap on a TAJAPPS ring and go DA SA DA SA. The SA corrects your collision box so you can DA again.

    What's a good unit set up for a GU/HU for the sake of being able to have a Ring slotted to a 12*?
    I currently use Astra and Fornis TMGs and a Saiki Set.
    12* Units I have available:
    Rear: Ray, Gruzolas, enough Battle Coins for a Shine
    Arm: Itsuki, RINA, Ray, Astra, Gix, Izane, Deadleo
    Leg: Ray, Izane
    For right now, Union is off the table since I still can't clear solo PD.

    If you only want one 12* unit you can use extended Tian/Austere set and a leg unit. Izane vs Ray/Union depends on how much you value HP/Def/Resists vs PP and 5 RAtk.

    How many ring do you want though?
    If it's just 1 ...... Tian set + Izane / Ray should be enough.

    Using things like Jumping Dodge / Air Reversal / Atomizer Lovers?

    Most I saw on organized runs are
    Rear : Arena's Red unit
    Arm : Rina
    Leg : Izane (due to using Rina's Arm unit when I asked)

    I also would like to get Izane too (if I haven't affixed my Ray Leg >_> )
    Would like to get Arm unit like Rina's .... but with 150HP instead of 15 PP (if it's ever implemented) >_>

    Now, for my own question (strictly as GuHu .... with Hu's tree being 100% sub purpose only)

    If you had to choose
    • Lv1 MassiveHunter + Lv5 FlashGuard
    • Lv5 MassiveHunter + Lv1 FlashGuard (or Lv1 WarCry)


    Which one you'd pick

    Kinda wondering since FlashGuard have no downtime, while having 5% less damage (20% vs 25%) reduction when Lv1 MH is active, compared to Lv5 MH.
    Downtime is longer though (70s vs 45s).

    Now that I think about it, I mostly activated MH when I needed to start / build Chain, so less interruption .___.

    Yeah, just the one for now, just for the Stance and Front Roll rings.
    Thanks for the advice. I think I'll be going Tian + Ray for now.

    EDIT:
    Thinking about future proofing, just in case I do want to use more rings later and thus go for a 12* set up like final_attack posted that uses Izane instead of Ray/Union, how viable would RINA + Crafted Ideal be? Obviously, the biggest difference would be affixing cost, but the stats look pretty close ( crafted to EX8 ):

    S-DEF

    R-DEF

    (Of course, this is moot point if I were to end up going for a full 12* set up that uses both RINA and Ray/Union rather than Izane for the sake of a bit more PP over a nice chunk of HP and resists)

    That's Itsuki's unit: 150HP, 4% Strike Resist, 1% Shooting-/Tech Resist, 25 S-/R-ATK, 30 DEX. It's a possible E-Trail reward when he shows up with RINA/SORO.

    Well, the difference is kinda small, indeed.
    So, both option would be good enough.

    I'm personally a bit worried for RINA's unit due to no HP and kinda lower S-Def / S-Res ...... but I think as long as there's a Te main in the mpa / party, should be safe enough, I think.

    For comparison purpose ..... using only ★12Units.
