There is alot i could think off, but there is some that really strikes my mind.
Legacy of Kain (PS1-PS2 etc), the epic vampire saga.
Great serie and great music, but the cliffhanger really made me want to see at least an conclusion in someway.
Blaster Master (NES), plattform shooter.
It got most of what you want in a plattform game, fitting music good imagination and good responsive combat mechanism without being too hard (except for maybe the 5 boss with no power-up).
Dare i say one of my absolute favorite games of all times..there i said it.
I still get chills from stage 4 music..dunno why..
Stage 8 is despressing so i just mute it lol.
I liked BM:Overdrive (Wii), but it were just a poor attempt to draw back that nostalgic feeling.
The remixed music it uses from the original sounds alot worse then many remixes i heard from people..they should just have sticked with the original soundtrack.
The overworld have bad backgrounds, not much thought given to it and the vehicle weaponry were severaly lacking..the dungeons had better combat too it, but still had lacking background details and imagination.
Please Sunsoft, redo this or make a decent sequel beside that Sega Genesis version..skip that..definitively donīt like that one.
Alundra (PS1), the well made Zelda clone.
Good selection of weaponry and good soundtrack.
Not really sure what to say, but it had a decent story with a nightmarish theme where you had to save people from their nightmares since if they die there then they are dead in the waking world.
Alundra 2 (PS1) had poor acting, bad music and awful combat.
