Are you so certain? Having multiple parties does push more extermism just look at Europe During the 30s. If people were logical and acted decently then maybe there will be a third party. Regardless there won't be any meaningful third parties due to the electoral college (An amusing concept made to defend Slavery)

Yup, I'm certain, considering there's already much more than three parties. I implied that 3rd party (the definition of "3rd party" used here meaning: moderates and/or independent of Democratic and Republican tags) candidates should be represented more and possibly elected.
