Yes, using both patches. Nov 7, and Sept 18. How unfortunate for me too, I didn't have enough HDD space for the PC to automatically create me a back-up previous folder to lean on.

You don't need to make a backup of the data folder just for the English patch, really. Just File-Check the client (third button on the laucher) and it should take care of the rest.

Unless you screwed something up somewhere or the launcher derps/doesn't actually take care of it (the latter cases aren't likely, from my experience, but you never know).

I was having this problem last night. There were 3 of us and me and another were crashing at the same point each time while the 3rd person was fine. We were both using the both patches while the 3rd wasn't. So we both re did the update and left out the large files and were fine the rest of the night.

tl;dr - Don't use the large files

I had both patches, and I was good for a while. Then I killed a Fodoran, and the error popped up. Gah.

Think its time to visit dat other forum and re-patch to JP.

Yes, don't reuse the large one since its outdated now, no reason why people are crashing so often, only the small one has been updated for now.

Well, have been playing without problems, not using any E-Patch.
