OMFGWTFBBQ Yes! I am sooooo Hyped!
I'm still knee deep in the first Dark Souls and played the hell out of Demons Souls, I can't even describe how happy this news makes me. I'm glad to see that this franchise has such strong support that we can get sequal. Hopefully Atlus will be in charge of distributing and localizing instead of Bandai since I feel Atlus seems to go the extra mile.

Just saw this on the facebook page post and oh man I cannot wait and plus it'll be coming out after I get my new pc hopefully. Also finish Dark Souls.

Yeah I wet my panties when I saw this revealed during the VGA's. DkS2 gonna be off the chain.
I like that they're out in front with a confirmed PC release. From seems to be playing pretty smart and latching onto the popularity the series has earned itself as well as listening to fan concerns. Even if the PC version of Dark Souls was a bit of a mess and a rush job, I admire that they listened.
There's a lot of hullabaloo about how the game may be a bit more accessible and less "I dunno, you fuckin' figure it out" this time around. It's just sort of inevitable as the series evolves from a business standpoint. Just calling it "Dark Souls II' says they're looking to bank on the brand and it makes sense that they want to be a bit more inclusive with it.
Of course, this is also From Software. I'm not exactly sure what "more accessible" actually means to them given their track record. xD
I just hope by that they don't mean going full blown story telling mode with cutscenes while dumbing down the gameplay/challenge the game presents.
Only time will tell I guess!
I have faith in them though and will most likely be a day one purchase for me like Dark Souls was.
Very happy to see a day 1 PC release.
I would like to see some content trailers though. Get hyped on GCI once, shame on me.. get hyped on GCI twice, still shame on me.
I have hope in FROM though. The transition from DeS to DkS was tolerable.
