I, for the life of me, can't pinpoint what exactly was the first video game I ever played. I like to think it was something on Commodore 64 but even then, I can't remember the names to most of the games I played on that.

Wow, that is awesome VioletSkye, I've never seen that thing in the wild, aside from one of the triangular cartridges! Such a unique console.

The first game I remember playing was Haunted House for the Atari 2600. I also vaguely remember Duck Hunt, though I think I was just watching my cousins play it.

The way my family received the NES was an intersting story. The year was 1990. The President was a stupid head. And my aunt called my mom a few weeks before Christmas. She asked my mother if we would like an NES system for Christmas. My mom was VERY against this. So a bit over a week later, we received a large wrapped gift inn the mail. My mother called and asked what it was. "oh, you know. dishes". My mom thought it would be a useful gift. Christmas day, we opened the gift. My dad, older brother and I were so happy. My mom was nice enough to let us keep it. And I'm a big gamer now.
    My sig disappeared.

I'm not sure if I can narrow it down to the first, but I can remember the first few...

They were on DOS I think. One was a target shooting game. Objects would scroll by the screen and you'd shoot them. The other was Gorillas, two gorillas threw bananas at each other. You'd have to enter a direction and force to throw the banana.

However, I may have played Super Mario on the NES before those, I really can't remember.
