Awesome PSO modeling that I wanted to share!

Earlier today I was on the Sega Forums for PSO 2 (West) and I saw a post from Electrocaseal and it linked to another forum called http://www.polycount.com/forum/ where people show off their modeling and stuff.

Somebody named Axios made a thread called "Remaking Phantasy Star Assets". This is what his project looked like. It looks pretty amazing! The details of all it all is just great! Kind of wish I could play here.

Yes, those are very good. However, their beauty is marred by the fact that the creator of these images thinks that PSO2 should be an HD remake of PSO. Ha.

Are you talking about that Electro guy himself? I wasn't sure if he was the one who actually made these. I saw the comment you posted in the thread too.
In Axios' thread he said "I've decided to work on remaking assets from Phantasy Star Online." He knows it's PSO but Electro is calling it "Real PSO2". That's why I'm not sure if he actually made it.

I dunno, though...I wasn't very big on the original PSO, but...I kinda wish PSO2's forest looked like this.

That was mouthwatering. I'm actually a little disappointed now that PSO2 doesn't look this good... I'll add this to the list of things to change when I have access to a functioning time machine.
