That's been there ever since Knuckles were added, one of the ducking blow icons is for the Knuckles PA, the other is for when attacking without weapons (just using the fists).

I think rareboost is like how regular weapons drop for types as of now. Gunners get a lot more twin mechs than rifles etc. So maybe rareboost will increase chances of rare mechs?

The Katana is for Hu/Fi and the bow is for Ra/Gu because what hinted to them was photon arts and magic stuff doesn't have photon arts, they have techs. also the only thing that hints to them are the pa's no icons, no nothing except the pa stuff. They're most likely working on more weapons for perhaps new classes.
