Version 1.5.2 of PSO2 Chat Translator has been released!

This is another hotfix to the release of version 1.5, fixing a bug that caused messages to stop being displayed.

Please check the first post to get the latest download links. The changelog is below.

Version 1.5.2 (January 3, 2016):

• Fixed a bug that meant chat messages stopped being displayed when a message with no content was handled (messages filtered by chat channel, or containing only a lobby action that gets removed).

Is there any chance you might be able to just transcribe japanese to romaji without actual translation?
Cause google is incredibly bad for translation. I speak decent japanese but I can't read kanji well, if it was romaji tho, I could easily understand it.

it's called transliteration and has a been a feature since forever

I think this was asked earlier in the thread, but can you add translation for system messages/npc text that appears in the chat box?


Really good work for creating this and maintaining it. I also agree that a donation button for the program would be great.

system messages/npc chat doesn't appear in chatlogs which are what the translator uses as input

I just noticed that Chinese transliteration is happening to names as well. Why is it different from messages?
