Got a word they are ok. They finished early in 3 - 3 1/2 hours another didn't finish and only accomplished 23 miles. Thank you God.
My heart and prayers go out to the families of the victims and others involved as they go through this tragedy.
We must be vigilant against these people who commit such crimes cause attacks like this will not stop anytime soon.

Thought of you Ryno, glad everyone you know is okay. All runners from Louisville are accounted for too.
In the midst of those who committed the act having a clear disregard for human life and the soulless media slaves who try to turn this into an international incident to make money off of human suffering...let's not forget there were just as many that ran in fearlessly and selflessly to help. Boston area police and EMTs did an incredible job, and I even hear some runners ran all the way to the Red Cross to give blood. Two people helped a 78-year-old man finish the race. The world for the most part infuriates me, but I find it's the bad ones that tend to be the loudest. A lot of good happened yesterday too.

I found Patton Oswalt's post shortly after fairly inspiring.
Glad to know that everyone you know made it out, Ryno.

Much more inspiring and, well, human... than (Fox News Commentator) Erik Rush's comments.
Apparently they do have a Saudi National in custody as a suspect, but only because some jackass on the street grabbed the first Muslim he saw "acting suspiciously" (i.e. running away from a bomb blast). As far as I know, he's just an innocent bystander though. The fact that nobody has stepped up and claimed responsibility yet, as well as the meaning behind the Boston Marathon (which isn't a widely known factoid), gives me the gut suspicion that it was a home-grown psychopath, rather than a foreign ideologue.
At any rate, I'm glad your friends are safe Ryno. I don't believe in the power of prayer, but I will be going down to my local Red Cross and donating blood... and I encourage everyone here, especially if you have Type O-, to do likewise. It won't help the people hurt in the Boston bombing one bit. Nothing you can do realistically can help. They have it under control. But it WILL save the lives of others.
Feed men, and then ask of them virtue!
Here are friends that ran it.
I have a photo of with them and here is a photo when they are at Boston .
