    I've been having a lot of trouble downloading files through the launcher. It seems like when a download fails, it just silently fails and everything proceeds onward-- obviously, that doesn't result in a working PSO2 installation.

    It'd be really useful to at least see what files have refused to download, so I can beg my friends to send me the new versions.

    EDIT:Ok... Now the file is deleted from the folder it was downloaded to and now I can't change anything in the folder... help?

    Huh, I wonder what's happening, then! I'm trying to patch an installation from that slipstreamed US install file, but whenever I download the patch (by way of Check for PSO2 Updates), it doesn't seem to download the entire patch.

    The game crashes before the title screen, and then when I Check for PSO2 Updates again, it detects that I need to download files still (always less than the last time-- it's been about 270 to 210 to 120 to 90 to 70 to a current low of 67).

    But if a failed download throws an error... Maybe what's happening is the download's getting interrupted, and reported as complete? My highly unscientific observation is that I only sometimes see a file actually appear on my desktop (where I have the tweaker), which makes me wonder if it's actually downloading them in the first place.

    (Sorry if I came across as accusatory or anything; I'm a programmer too, and so I must instinctively attempt to figure out what's going wrong. I greatly appreciate all the work you've done so far, regardless; this is already much faster than trying to use the original patcher.)

    Default AIDA You're Amazing

    Thank you for posting this PSO2 Tweaker it's a life saver. I have just recently got back into PSO2 and when i started playing the english patches were some of them broken i tried to extract into the folder and overwrite but i got nothing it was still in japanese, thanks for creating a program that will do it all for me, it makes getting back into the game that much easier. Again, thank you.

    And I just see that the official PSO2 launcher is gone now? That's weird, it was there yesterday, I even clicked on it... So I guess I have to get the .exe files again, huh? But what happens if everything will repeat itself? I'm so confused...

    id like to come back and say thanks for this amazing tweaker, everything works perfect.. until today i found out that the storypatch is bugged.
    the english patch is fine however.


    with the storypatch, when you get your first freeroam mission for the forest you will get stuck in the lobby right before the exit. relogging does not help. the only way to fix this is to restore the original story files and then you will get a tutorial pop up message where u previously got stuck.

    Something that has been working for me is to initially use the JP launcher after maints, this cause the patch check to check the launcher, when that's done it'll say "Downloaded latest version and then restart" (lolz) i then use AIDA's tweaker for the win32 files and all the other tweaker goodness+^_^+ been working for me fine and my launcher hasn't been disappearing+^_^+ (woah, i spelled disappearing right for like the 1st time ever!!+^_^+


    EDIT: does your Tweaker include the Large English patch files? if it doesn't can i request an additional button with something like "Install Latest English Patch-Large Files" with the pop up saying that "download may take some time depending on connection and speed"+^_^+ i really like your Tweaker's backup function and if large files aren't included, i wants them+^_^+
