I believe if you have the options checked off where the videos do not come on you have to click 4 times to get to title screen

If you remove the opening videos, then you need to click to move past the black screens. It isn't automatic.
Just want to point out that I just logged in. Fully updated, backed up, then installed all the English Patches and enabled Item Translation via the Tweaker.
Everything is working just fine

i have a problem with finding the items patch if i click the orb and go to install/update patches there is only english patch story patch and large files shouldnt there be items as well or are they installed with large files?

When, if ever, will the item translation have its download available just like the story patch, normal patch, largefiles, etc?

The box to enable item patching is in the same menu when you click the orb. It is down near the two 'options' buttons.

See I had full installation of pso2 with the update today.
Set it where I had to, installed the en patch and the story patch, enabled the item translation. but it would pop up every time with pastebin.

It needs the PSO2 Tweaker to run it, so likely never. Are you having an issue with the PSO2 Tweaker?

If you don't feel like loading up the gui and just want it to launch PSO2, just open it once, toggle "Translate items", and close it. After that, just run it with "pso2 tweaker.exe -item -pso2" and it'll run PSO2 directory with the item patch enabled.

Is the item translation not just another patching of files over files or something?

I don't intend to use Tweaker.

Is there anyway to get the tweaker to telling me there's an update to the game when I already have it fully updated?

The item translation requires using the tweaker. If you decline to use the tweaker then you can manually do everything via backup/copy/paste of the EN patch files.
If you have difficulties or are encountering errors, try to get everything in VANILLA JP-only mode up and running and in-game moving around. If you can manage that, then use the process of elimination to install the EN stuff one part at a time (EN interface patch, EN large files, etc) and test in between each install to make sure it is working properly.

Everything EXCEPT the EN Story Patch should be up and working just fine.
