PSO2 Tweaker - Various enhancements

Idk, new method has been buggy for me ever since it borked the first time (always asks to DL files I already have). Not that it's much of a loss since old method is much more stable imo.

Also, dunno if it's been mentioned around here, but item patch has been fixed/updated

Is there any way to confirm if the vanilla jp files are backed up when using Tweaker? I try to restore the original files but it doesn't seem to have them, resulting in an extra 300mb file download every patch/maintenance.

I only use the English Patch. No story/large files.

That... is unusual. As I mentioned earlier in the thread, the standard English patch is ~5MB. How are you updating? New method, old method, Official launcher?

I use the old method since the new method seems to be broken sometimes. I just use tweaker, not the official launcher. The official launcher gets disconnected since my connection is very slow, especially during big patches.

Hmmm. Try this the next time you update: Before you initiate the update, go to the orb > "Redownload Original JP Files" > "English Patch"
See how much it ends up downloading after that.

Eh, a simple question. How do i set up a backup, or turn on auto back up. I can't seem to find that option in the options menu and stuff.

The only patch that uses a back-up is the Story Patch since it is ~3GB, and it is done automatically. The large files patch is only ~83MB and the standard English patch is ~5M, so as long as things are downloading properly (ie. no New Method update errors) there is no real reason to need them to be backed up.

Well you see, i'm getting a download that's over 10 gb, while the patch is only 22mb~ish and it happens every time that's the main point. And hell if I know how to fix it. I heard making back ups helps.
