Wait or Play the Japanese?

I started playing the japanese version when it got open for eveyone but sadly my computer broke so I´ve bought a new one now and just wonder, should I keep the hope up for the Western server or just start playing on the japanese server again?

I know I´m not the only one asking this but I´ve tried to find advice on different threads.

Anyway, with no update on a release date for PSO2 outside of Japan, I'd say you try the JP version again and play with the ENG-patches.

I'd say your best source of information about when the game gets a release date outside of JP might be this forum, since those other sites are all in Japanese.

What with some community members going through efforts to make complete EN patches, and Episode 2 coming out in July, I'd say anyone who's still considering waiting for the EN release to have some form of brain trauma.

Meaning, 'play the Japanese'.

I'd say if you really want to play it that badly, I'd just stick with the JP servers. If the past has taught us anything, they'll probably get more content in the long run anyway, plus Episode 2 and some other stuff is supposed to be out next month. That, and you'd still have access to all your character's progress, etc.

On the flip-side, E3 is starting up soon, so HOPEFULLY there will be some new info about the English version... but I wouldn't get my hopes up.

Btw, that site I linked usually has some good info about updates and what-not.

Indeed. Ship:02 ウル. Once online, head over to Block B-020. This is where the ENG players hangout, and you could pretty much ask anyone there about the basics of the game.
