    Here's a damage calc of the katana general mobbing PAs, with stance and without (my BrHu stats with Evil Rakuka, fury always on of course, assuming full gear but gear not triggered through guarding)





    Kanran suffers a loss of 39% damage and Guren 26.4%... I think it's a big difference in damage which will prevent one-two shots on weak mobs. I'm not sure it's worth using BrHu like this, if you're going to sacrifice general mobbing for large enemy/boss killing I think ranged classes would be better.

    From what I've used of Kamikaze Arrow, it has a rather large hitbox which makes it hard to hit certain weak points with precision (mainly if the boss isn't completely immobile,) meaning Weak Stance wouldn't proc all the time... unless there's an easy to hit WB on the boss.

    Here's a Kamikaze comparison with Ideal bow, assuming everything on weak point. (RS-less damage included for my own curiosity)


    With that Kamikaze damage, Kamikaze x2 + Banish (w/ RS Mastery) would be
    Weak S: 184984 + 276551 = 461535
    Average S: 161000 + 240695 = 401695
    Damage difference for a full Banish combo would be 14%.


    I guess in the end it depends on whether you prioritize mobbing or bossing. I personally went with Average Stance.

    Never paid attention to it before, but the charged shot skill applies both its damage boosting, and projectile speed effects to charged bow PAs such as master shot too, yeah?

    What's the good katana for 63+ lvl? Currently i'm using this one , which is from MB. Fully grinded it is now have 1050 atk, i'm planning to buy element change stuff, to turn it into light. Is this investment worth the deal? Or should i get ideal katana from the CM shop? Really love challenge mode, so it is not a problem to spend several days for collecting points.

    I don't think that katana is worth a light element changer because it doesn't have a striking damage potential.

    Crafted red katana or Evil Rakuka are the best outside of 13*s, I believe. Ideal is okay I guess, but if you have bow skills on your tree I suggest getting Ideal bow first because of the bossing pot.

    Here's a katana comparison for Sakura End (using my stats again)


    If you opt for a red katana, I suggest keeping it at lv 1 to save some miles, because the damage difference is very small for the increasing mile cost. Also if you don't run Magatsu much, red is much easier to get/buy.
    Edit: Oops, I forgot Rakuka only drops in XH... Before XH, the best option is red katana for sure.

    I already have lvl6 crafted red katana with unlocked potential - thanks to this forum! The problem us i don't have enough dex to use it XD And i already got ideal bow - now i need to collect more points, to grind its element. Really appreciate the picture!

    So in general red+10 at 895 and potential lvl1, light 50 will be more effective, than my current at 1050 with 30 wind, or even with 30 light?

    ^You'll need the Red Katana at at least ExLv9, to reduce the damage variance. As for the Dex requirement, you can reduce it a lot with the 30% requirement reducer from title reward (use it when lv9 maybe?), or changing the requirement to something else(preferably satk), but it will cost you 9000 casino coin.

    well my advice is to get it as high as you possibly can then use a 30% equip relaxer (or if thats not enough and feeling desperate) casino equip requirement changer (get a s atk one only if you cannot equip a silva material crafted red katana even with a 30%)

    also since red katana and evil are so close in power and red doesnt have health drain id stick with red until you get an ares katana.. well to be more realistic invade katana as it comes 60 ele and has ares like stats up to you if you want to eventually pursue austere if it ends up good
