The just on weak points is why I said somewhat tasty. More looking at BR/HU to be honest. Nice to see a force get something off this.

so far not really, the 9* weapons are S-attack (and R-attack for bows), and the 10* weapons need 300 - 320 dex, so by level 20 you should have enough to equip them already (atleast according to that wiki)
At level 31, versus a level 40 el arda's weak point, using an ungrinded 6* katana, my combat finish just did 27k damage without weak bullet
so this is pretty neat
Important to note (and I don't know if it was mentioned already) but you can JA the finisher. Obviously to push it's maximum potential this should always be done.
I also wanna note(When you do use Combat finish no enemies can harm you during the animation until you finish it so you can abuse that.

Ah, I have two questions, my first one is, what and how does the katana gear actually works?
The second question is, what does rapid shoot mastery do?

Building the gear gauge is kinda like 'stock' type (ie like Double Sabers system). The moment you JG an incoming attack with at least 1 full block (anything less and it just wipes the gear), you auto-JC and the gear activates (indicated by the purple aura).
Once this happens, the gear changes into a 'heat' type. You degenerate gear automatically, and regenerate it by hitting stuff (either normals or PAs). In the activated state your attack and critrate shoot up. Haven't looked into whether or not the bonus increases if you pop it on Gear3 instead of Gear1 though, but I'm guessing popping it on higher gear just gives you a longer duration.
