I was wondering... would it not be possible to make cross-race versions of characters? Like a cast Echo or a human Lisa for example? Obviously some liberties would have to be taken (different ear types, skin colors on Casts, etc), but wouldn't it be possible to get something that looks close to their original form in terms of facial structure and body shape?

Doable, Cross gender is harder, but still doable

And also possible to use differennt face type.

Like Io uses the baby face type(Round nose), here's one using the grown/normal face

I made a newman Azanami. Truthfully, I altered the nose a tiny bit though.

Without altering any other features besides face type? Wow, she has a multipurpose face if that's the case.

No, you have to tweak alot more then just change face type.
