Techs can hit major body weak points just fine. Try headshotting Rockbear with a Foie versus hitting the body. The damage difference will be significant. Same logic applies for off-elements, but I'm not sure why you'd hit with an off-element tech while wanting to maximize damage.
What they can't hit (AFAIK) is the tiny weak point on smaller monsters usually located on the head. These weak points can only be hit by Ranged weapons and typically require Manual Aim. Ranger can headshot an Oodan, while Force cannot.
Summoner weapon name is Tact, according to initial translations. The abbreviation should be SU. There's no logical reason for it to be SO.
Yeah, the Summoner weapon is タクト (takuto) which Google Translate translates directly to "tact," but I would argue it should be "takt" since it seems to be a shortening of the German "taktstock," which is literally just "baton."
Well this is subject to change, but this is what I got.
Rather it's simple so I can't really mess it up.
*edit: Just looked in item search, and we have it as Tacts.
**It's also interesting to note that people are trying to sell the npc weapon for 10k and upwards(I'm even seeing 500k here...)

While accessories are not inventory items, Do we need to have the correct costume in your inventory to equip a specific "My Fashion" preset?
Edit NM: answer you do have to have the costume in your inventory.

This whole time I've been looking for a new baton but have yet to run into one. Are there none so far or is this all we're stuck with?
What are the best eggs to feed to your pets? Should I go all S-ATK, R-ATK, or T-ATK? or should I try finding eggs with multiple values for food?
