Trying to patch with the tweaker. Prompts to download the most recent PSO2 update(08/30/2016), after clicking yes the tweaker downloads nothing and proceeds like "normal".

When trying to log in I get an error for using the incorrect version.

Is this error on my side or what?

Use the old format to update. It should work.

Firstly, I have seen people place something that allows people to join their party during an EQ, How Is this done?
And secondly, I am starting to level force/techer and I'm curious a- What the best set Is for them right now and b- Is It 100% necessary to have a rainbow set or has anything changed when having your main as force?

In regards to the Force / Techer setup question: It depends more on what elements you've put skill points into. Typically Fire/Light/Dark are the main three elements you need to gear up for (You could also get away with a generalized build that mixes all elements at reduced efficiency, if you can't afford to pay real money for multiple Skill Trees...Something like this)

I assume that it doesn't work with Automate just like the skill ring. Can anyone confirm?

Thanks to everyone who answered my last three questions.
I am still sticking to Ideal and Saiki depending on situation.

I wish they made 13* Gunslashes with T-ATK already....
I would go after a Rainbow set if that ever happened.

So the next 2 questions are.....
Are all of these unit sets introduced beyond Saiki always been units to enhance specific weapons in dual-set bonuses?
Are there any unit sets introduced post-Saiki that can increase Attack Power on a Double-Set Bonus without having to conform to a specific weapon?

austere rear/arm + orbit leg is good regardless of any weapon pairing. their inherent stats are what make them better than saiki due to high def/hidden resists, not pairing with a specific wep.

You can only buy 10-12* weps from the Player Shops with a pass. Either that, or you hunt down the item you want as a drop.

You may be able to trade for what you want, but both players have to have active premium subscriptions, and if you have premium, you could just get the passes from the recycle shop anyways.
