I imagine it has something to do with:

Which the Tweaker does when you disable item translation, but apparently not it when there's an error. Whatever it is, it causes GameGuard to crash, which locks up a few files, which makes GG keep crashing every time after that.

Just seeing if anyone else is having this problem, my wife's rig is running on integrated graphics, and every time there's an update she has a bad chunk of lag for a while.

Long story short, we made new characters today, and every time she enters the lobby when an NPC talks to her, PSO2 forgets what memory capacity is, and just leaks memory everywhere, eventually consuming all memory and cpu threads while it sits there HNNNNGing at a single frame of the lobby.

Anyone know why that is/what I can do to prevent it?

If I remember, that's usually the client trying to download the lobby video.

...Yeah, that sounds right, If I recall there's no way to set that video not to load by tweaker, is there?

What's the best way to grind a weapon to +10? Should I just save up money and hope I get a streak of success to +10? Or should I buy the grinding support items?

Get full protection for every stage that can take you down and pray for success.

If it's a 1 - 6 * weapon, go wild. Those are pretty easy without protects and boosters. 7 - 9*, might want to use a +1 protect at the final levels, especially if you're going all the way to +40 it. 10*s, definitely use a +1 at least from +8 onwards. 11*s might need a +2 protect and +5% boosters to get you by the -3 hurdles from +8 onwards.

Update on that, due to how vram is calculated and prioritized in Fullscreen mode, the lag has become at least manageable, oddly, lag spikes during the most recent Lillipa intro, you know the one. Also of note is that none of the new vids are playing ._.
