Anyone else been getting weird block change issues? Twice now, while trying to join a block that's almost full, rather than be put right back where I was and told the block is full, it'll put me in a random block without any message to indicate what just happened. It's more than a little annoying.

Happened to someone I know who doesn't have premium, I quitted the block was had no premium space taken (yet) to allow them to join and then to rejoin. We gave up doing the EQ together when they ended up on a random SH block instead.

As others said, has been happening to people as well.
Kind of believe block changing settings were changed so that instead of block being full but person tried to get in -> moved into premium space, it became block being full but person tried to get in -> another block.
No evidence though! So could be wrong.
Jumping in and out of shared ship while playing phone games to slip into full blocks without premium hasn't been working since last week....

^, I think that the packet which inform your client of fullblock got lost and client/server thinks you are newly logged in thus put you into other blocks

If you don't mind losing strike resistant and want to swap those +100 HP to +10 PP , then yes.
Extended saiki is much better tho if you want PP
