Personally it's easier to trade off 20 ATK per unit for 120 HP and some PP than it is to run Double Magatsuhi and affix more ATK. Alter is cheaper than Mod, straight up Stam is cheaper than Alter.

If you need HP+PP you can even use a Noble Stam from the Dudu fee and affixes you save on, it's not like you'll be using Noble ATK on anything below Saiki anyway. So Ex8 Hiei mixing HP and PP crafts and throwing HP/PP affixes in should give a better balance of stats vs Double Magatsuhi, given the same budget. But if going all in on HP it's a different story of course.

They're staying true to the lore of FFXIV actually. In FFXIV, Odin is actually a random warrior possessed by Zantetsuken, hence why there's more than one look as the sword is the true boss, the body is merely a host.

Ah would've been nice if they showed this by like having some randomly generated character suddenly transform into Odin then or something like that.
