Those foods boost Gem Rate in general.

I don't think there is a food that boost Gems by 50%, just 30%. Are you sure you are not using the one that boost Ore rates?

Anyway, I assume that it boosts the base drop rate of Gems, which have a low rate, so say that its drop rate is 1%, then using the food will just boost it to 1.5%. Boosting Gem rate is better than going by size since by using size boost you add a boost to any item of that size, thus just further adding a variable in the drop roll.

How exactly does gear affect BHS? What would I have to change in damage calc to see accurate results, or do I just leave power at 1208?

There's no way anyone would know that haha. (unless of course that info could be datamined which I assume no.)

We can however guess......

70→71 1,800,000
71→72 1,841,000 (+41,000)
72→73 1,882,500 (+41,500)
73→74 1,924,500 (+42,000)
74→75 1,967,000 (+42,500)

So from each level It went up the amount experience of the level before it plus an extra 500.

Now of course assuming they scale it from 75 and not SP (which was X3, X6, X6,X6 respectively)

It might look something like.....

75→76 2,010,000 (+43,000)
76→77 2,535,00 (+43,500)
77→78 2,097,500 (+44,000)
78→79 2,142,000 (+44,500)
79→80 2,187,000 (+45,000)

It takes more than 6 million to go from level 75 to 76, so I think your estimate is off.
