I find the wired Xbox 360 controller the easiest (no outside programs required) and most comfortable to use. I only need the N key on my keyboard to bring up the big map to figure out where a section is, as well as chatting.

i have a 360 pad (limited Gears of War 3 one), been very good to me, and PSO2 lets you map buttons how you want and even change symbols in game to match 360 pad button schemes+^_^+ if your insistent on a Razor, get the Razor Onza, it's a better pad then Sabertooth from what i here, but personally, i like the OEM 360 pad the best, even with Force it's very usable+^_^+ just takes a minute to get used to it, and to remap it so it doesn't have the cruddy PSU mapping
I use L1 for switching between 5 and 6
Up Down Left is for weapon slots, Right is lobby action.
L1+ directional = less useful quick slots
L1 + Triangle Square Circle = more useful slots, L1+R1+3 of them = mates
though might change in future when people expand on Dualshock 4's features like the touchpad.
The wireless feature is great.
