Why so many female characters?

Seriously, why? I know for sure that not so many girls play this game.
Every time I see a female character I picture an obese man who hasn't showered in ages in front of a computer drooling over his character's skimpy clothes.
It's weird in a party when you're the only manly strong man fighting alongside 160 cm tall little girls with annoying voices and wearing clothes from characters from bad anime and Hatsune Miku. I also find unfair the fact that female characters get a lot more costumes than male characters. PSO really didn't have to go that way.
This is real. But that's just an angry me.

Do I care? not really, I made my first character because Hunewearl from pso1, before I found out it wasn't the same here at all *shrugs*. Also, you don't need to look like a 'Manly strong male' to fight... :|
