All right, well, that took a little longer than I expected, but the last chapter is now up and Youngster Joey's story is finally complete. I left it hanging wide open for a sequel although I don't remember much about Ruby and Sapphire so it probably won't actually get written. Enjoy!
I don't think I need to tell you this, but this was beautiful. My favorite characters by far are the Cueballs. Imagining them arguing about and committing crimes for literary authors is hilarious.
Haha, thank you! I think they were my favorite part, too. I actually got the idea from a news article I read where that basically really happened in Russia. Two old men in a grocery store got in an argument about which is superior, poetry or prose, and it ended with one guy stabbing the other.
