    1. i ran a bunch of the eq last week, however it appears there's nothing schedule for this week. (i did get a bunch of bonus points when i woke up though). is this normal? does the eq cycle typically have a week with eq's and then a week with none (that is kind of a redemption period for any remaining bonus points)? will there still be random eq's popping this week, or is there literally nothing until next week?

    2. i know you can get exce receptors in es to help transfer flict/alter abilities. my question is, how exactly do you get them? are they something that can drop on any weapon/unit anywhere, or do they only come from certain quests/eq's? i haven't actually seen one drop, and am assuming i'm just looking in the wrong places. (have gotten plenty of 3-4 slot soul receptors).

    3. i think i have a pretty reasonable weapon/chip layout for my fo, and have figured out how maxing the chips and unlocking them works, but as i add more of my characters to the game, is there any kind of universal consensus about what classes/weapon types are the best? for example on my ra i'm using launcher and it seems to be kicking ass right now, but once i get more endgame, will i be wanting to use a launcher or a rifle? same for bo, should i be using db's or boots? alternatively, is it something where i should be prepared to use both and just have different weapon/chip loadouts for different levels since sega gives us 6 loadout presets?

    4. right now on my fo, i'm using an 11* affinity talis that someone recommended a year or so ago. i see that there are 12* affinity weapons now in the weaponoid recycle shop. my weaponoids are more than happy to give me weapon booters and gold weaponoid boosters for story/gift rewards, but they aren't giving me any rainbow weaponoid boosters. where do i actually get those? (assuming the 12* affinity talis is actually good. is there a different weapon someone would recommend? my playstyle has basically been "throw talis, use L70 11* gifoie, watch things die)

    5. i just today noticed the "ability" of the chips and how combining chips of the same name +1's that, much like going from +30 to +35 on weapons in the main game. is the ability level important, or is it kind of like how it didn't matter if you were +35 on a weapon prior to ability factors and the L80 unlock conditions in the main game (assuming you were 60 element)?

    thanks for any information.
    1. Tends to alternate. Check the website regularly for more details on EQ schedules.
    2. Ext Receptor is an Ability that can randomly be affixed to Bonus Scratch gear. It's far rarer than Soul Receptor, and sells for a pretty penny if you can get it on a 3s+ Unit.
    3. Currently, the best weapons are a tossup between Twin Daggers, TMGs, and Tech weapons. TDs get Facet Folia, TMGs have the almighty Elder Rebellion, and Tech has been getting lots of good Techniques lately. No such thing as a "best class"; all the classes are literally indistinguishable from one another besides stats. The meta leans towards using All Class weapons anyway, so Class typically doesn't matter. Pick one you want to level in the main game. If you insist on using Rifle/Launcher/Boots/DBs, be my guest, but remember that there are no equip restrictions in es.
    4. Literally just RNG. You're not seeing Rainbow Stones because you haven't been lucky enough to see one.
    5. On Passive Chips, Ability Level affects activation chance. On Actives, it reduces CP cost. For the record, Lillipan and Nyau Chips can also raise the Ability Level of the target Chip.

As for what she was named after, I chalk it up to the good doctor just throwing out random names. Who knows what Zackard was thinking at the time - remember that the term that was always used in the PSO2 universe was "Souseiki" which we chose to translate as a Genesis weapon.
Genesis weapons in Japanese are 創世器 (souseiki) which is derived from 創世記 (also souseiki - the book of Genesis), so I think it's a fair assumption that since the way of writing Genesis in Kana is ジェネシス, he just lopped the first part of that.

I can answer this now, it's per character, so I have 10 coming my way eventually.

So I decided to play around Grim Barrage... Initial impression is that it's really strong, feels like a cross between Guren-Tessen and Satellite Aim, but it's not really a safe move to use, but given how quick it is, it could potentially out-dps Facet Folia.

Using it puts you in front of the enemy at the same speed of Guren, but then there's this half second delay before any attack comes out. What does come out hits multiple times, at damage levels comparable to Facet Folia, but it does this damage almost instantly, whereas Facet Folia takes 2-3 seconds for it to process all of its damage. It does have S-roll, just like Elder Rebellion, but what it lacks is i-frames - it seems to me that you are completely vulnerable throughout the entire attack, but it might not be an issue given that it animates quickly, and you can s-roll cancel the attack after the initial dash (you're still very screwed if an El Arda charges at you while you are in your initial dash to the target).

I need to play around more with it, and definitely need to try and acquire the 8* and 11* variants to see what's up.

I was thinking of playing the scratch to get it. Can a under 10* verison be gotten from the fun scratch?

Is this scratch worth doing on a char that has 0 weaponoids? Or should i wait off and see what next week brings?
