Yo that ringahda fight lasted forever. Was I supposed to bring a 2 element weapon to that fight or something? I was only knocking off bits from that hp bar. Was that intended? Did sega want me to suffer?

Considering it's pretty much the final boss, some amount of suffering has to happen.

try to bring light element and max it so it work on all enemy there (insect, aquatic, and bird darker/). I remember the fight takes me around 3-4 minutes when it first appear because it has ~1 mil HP (around VH EQ boss HP)
also, having damage reduction chip (lottie/dies ryuu for general use, or maybe something like matoi-ideal cluster or nyx etc for the more restrictive weapon) helped to avoid instant death by ringahda's charge which probably the top reason why someone died there.
