On the pso2es wiki there's detailed info on the particular monster or boss that you're fighting that has what resists what.

Contrary to what its description implies, the ice element Arthur chip does affect techs, so it's basically a universal group A damage multiplier.

On a side note, did they have any special limited scratches around this time last year? I'm debating over whether or not I want to keep doing the current scratch because it has a lot of solid chips and the rates seem pretty good.

Just don't pair it with Yamigarasu. The way that the game looks at effect priority is to look at which came first. Because both Wind Arthur and yamigarasu's effect are the same (delivering status via attacks) if you pair the 2 together, the only status you'll proc is Mirage, since you get Wind Arthur's effect immediately, and Yamigarasu's only happens after you proc an effect timer.

Golden Week is coming soon (April 29 - May 5), and so is the iOS anniversary (Some time in the middle of May). Consider this - some of the slots are taken up by several 12* chips in those scratches. Meaning there's going to be less of a chance to get those, and also less 11* overall. This is including the fact that they tend to load up the really special scratches like anniversary with a ton of reds means your chances of getting something good are overall decreased.

The es anniversary scratch that just passed us had a nice selection of chips totaling 210~, the problem was that 5 of those were 12* and 120 of them were reds. It was actually in your interest to cough up AC, because unlike most other scratches, AC scratch removed every single red in the pool, but if you tried to play your medals, you had to deal with that "Pool of suck".

IIRC in last live, Chin (es director) will give detailed explanation on weaponoid side quest during tomorrow's live

and anyway, you can see past scratches here
click on the 過去開催分:実装順 to open the drop box.
the next one, other than collab, is arks selection which is based on player vote last year (but be reminded that they may add some event there too as the server and system still wasn't that stable last year, ie: we don't get valentine scratches last year)

Unless they're part of the same event, Super Hard Triggers are lost between EQs, the same way Bonus Points are.

That's what I thought, but one of my alt had a SH trigger in the beginning of this EQ...

My biggest takeaway from this is that PSO2es basically looked at Fate/Grand Order, and decided that they want to be like that (in terms of systems, and generating money).

You use weaponoids in missions to raise your bond with them. Once you level that bond enough you unlock their sidestory. Once you complete the sidestory that weaponoid gets powered up further (more element, cost down).

I can't complain. Cost down on 12* chips? Yes please.
